I didn't expect to have time to email you, but we are allowed to while we do our laundry before we leave tomorrow morning at 4:30 a.m.. I've grown so much while I've been here at the MTC. I hope everything is going well at home. I'll be calling sometime in the morning (not sure when though) before I get on the air plane.

Letter from MTC Jun. 12, 2014 (2nd day at MTC)

The past day and a half at the MTC has been crazy. It's been so incredibly busy.  They keep us busy for about 16 hours a day.  My companion is Elder Herring, and the other members of our district are Elder Sorenson and Elder Summit, Elder Hill and Elder Billiter, and Elder Harrison and Elder Crandell.

Elder Herring, my companion is 6' 8'' and has a football scholarship to BYU as an offensive tackle.  He weighs 285 pounds.  So overall his is a big guy.  Elder Herring is very spiritual and very good at having a good scripture for any situation.  He is such an inspiration.

Elder Sorenson and Elder Summit are the zone leaders.  Elder Crandell is the district leader. Elder Herring and I are sacrament coordinators.

Elder Hamblin is currently at the Provo MTC.  He departs for Washingtion D.C. on June 24 2014.
